Sabean ugghhh..yes a POS no doubt....no one wants to hear it from him. The Giants win their first world series in SF and in my lifetime and all of a sudden he wants to rewrite the rules of baseball. Runner have ran into catchers in baseball for a long time - Rose/Fossee is a memorable example... -

BGS grading question send as is or break open
Before you crack it out, check and see if you can see why it got an 8.5 on surface. If it looks like there's some dust or a finger print, crack it out and wipe it clean. -

Huge addition in today - vintage Mantle
Nice pick up and great trade. It's not a 5 but I think it's better than a 2. I'd say it would grade a 3 or maybe a 4. I can't tell from the scan but that mark on the back might bump you down. It's hard to tell without seeing it in person. -

How many of you won real prizes in the Diamond Dig?
Dug up a pack of 88 Topps? Too bad you can't re-bury it. I think you'd rather have the rings - at least you can accumulate them for prizes. I dug up an anniversary set for my instant win prize. I believe this is the same set you get as if you have 45 rings.
