When I started my Twins collection back in 2006, I was just trying to acquire as many Twins cards as I could. (Being a part of a team collectors trading group also helped me add so many cards to my collection.) Now, I've become more selective in what I buy.
As I have become more selective, for...
I have my Topps sets in 3" Ultra Pro binders (currently 1973-2013 with 2014 still in boxes). I had the same problem when Ultra Pro changed the look of their binders a few years back. I ended up deciding that I would use the older style for the older sets and the newer style for newer sets.
Out of the three, Bowman Platinum is the only one I have interest.
I would probably be in on a AG/Bowman Platinum break. Definitely in for a Bowman Platinum break. I'm out if we do AG only or AG/Tier 1.

Recieved the 1973 Topps Lopes RC earlier this week. Thanks!
I had promised to send a few of you cards earlier. I thought I sent them out with some eBay shipments last week, but turns out I missed those. They will be going out in the mail tomorrow.
devin - The Morneau is yours. rum151man - All of the Giants are yours. MrMet - All of the Mets are yours. Waulk11 - The Stanton is yours. rsmem97 - The rest of the Bowman Chrome are yours.
If you all can PM me your addresses, I should have them all mailed out Monday.

Can I claim the 1973 Davey Lopes rookie? It's one of the last cards I need for that set.
I will post some cards tonight for others to claim.
One of my basic team collecting goals is to have all Twins Topps base cards including Traded/Update from 1961 through the present... and that's also including any multi-player all-stars, rookies, league leaders, etc. So far, I have everything from 1977 through the present.
It makes me feel better to see that there are a lot of us who haven't been able to complete our sets.
I started my first Heritage set in 2006. Since then, I've been able to build all of the base sets and most of the SPs and inserts, but always end up a handful of cards short. The Heritage...
I voted Heritage.
I build the flagship Topps set every year, but it's very quick to complete the base set when you just get one jumbo box for each series. Inserts are very easy and cheap to pick up either at the LCS, card show or Sportslots.
Heritage is more of a challenge to complete, but...
