Top 5 maybe... the smell of butt hurt is strong in this post though making it sound like he put you up to posting it to take another cheap shot at Tanner
this is the first time I've been able to say that Panini did a barrel card wrong.. the card has no visual appeal at all which I've always praised the NT product over anything Topps puts out. That card isn't worth even half what it sold for IMO
Since the bankruptcy replacement versions hit the market and other fakes I think these cards have really lost their appeal versus the other cards mentioned on here.
The other 2 are the Starting 9 and the Bowman Chrome Golden Anniversary refractor with honorable mention to the z axis but none of these 3 cards really has the eye appeal of the 3 pictured.
I like the Select mirror better since its just a simple uncluttered photo and let the gold make it pop...
they are 3 of the 5 toughest inserts of the 90's.. visually the Crusade is #1 to me with the other two 2nd and 3rd respectively. I've seen at least 7 copies of the Crusade though so its the most common to market of the 3 by a long shot.
Those 3 cards were worth more than any 1/1 to me.. I had one opportunity to buy the Mirror gold and platinum gold and I jumped on it paying more than I'd ever paid for a single card. in todays market they would be steals but at the time even the biggest spenders wouldn't pony up what I did. I...
I was cool with it.. Its not intended to be a Canseco auto but since he is on the card its a checklist requirement and they are pretty uncommon for /100 cards.
I'd be willing to bet if you posted that in the McGwire thread you would have some takers for sure.. these jumbo's just don't pop up at all it seems except for the same few players
I have only seen Griffey, Bagwell, Buhner, and Palmeiro from this set.. it was one of the oddball Jose Canseco's that I was really wanting to find and add to my PC back in the day.
Nice card Keith! the mid 2000's low numbered cards are so damn tough to find these days and although I no longer collect I gotta say that I still enjoy seeing other score them for their PC's
I just simply started a group for Jose Canseco collectors and fans and it blossomed from a few of the collectors still on here to other current and former collectors. the group currently has 250 members which isn't huge but it keeps growing as more and more people are finding it. I'm sure you...
I sold my whole collection.. I listed a few nice patches on Ebay and other collectors asked what else I had so I was able to sell most off Ebay in package deals. Used Ebay solely for exposure. all the base and low level common inserts I sold last after the whole collection was picked through by...
