Astros Sign Carlos Beltran

As an Astros fan that has booed Beltran since he turned his back on us in 2005, I can't decide how I feel about this.

Talk me off the cliff.

Loved his time in St. Louis.

Age gotta catch up to him soon one would think. I year an easy risk I suppose but I'd be slightly worried about what will go wrong

This is a solid move for the Astros. Beltran can still hit and he's a proven postseason performer. Beltran knows that he only has this year and maybe one more left in him and that's it. He went to a team surrounded by a youthful core and a couple of veterans. The Astros are going for it in 2017 and Beltran felt this was the best place to be. You can come down off of the cliff. Lol
