The last month I have been adding alot of the common players I used to ignore as well as buying cameo cards so I could get scans. Really dug into finding players on the backs of cards. John Jaha collectors are the biggest beneficiaries.
Current counts:

Similar sluggers, but Alonso is a better overall hitter. Their strikeout rates aren't that much different, so my guess is that Kingman would chase out of the zone more than Alonso and produce weak contact. Kingman's AVG and OBP are not good. Had a great career though.
There is one on COMC for $7.75. There seems to be a fair amount of players available out there, so seems about right. Strike that, those are regular golds, not the refractor. I have no idea.
There are a few other cards in 1996 where Mattingly is using a black mitt with a blue wrist band on the right wrist and a gray wrist band on the left, but it would be good to have a Mattingly expert weigh in with their opinion on this one.

I have been purchasing some 1980s and 1990s star cards from Sportlots to add to my pricelists. I guess most collectors have these cards, but I have never owned any of the them. Some very cool stuff. Anyways, I picked up some Will Clarks and got a couple of the 1998 Pacific Revolutions and...
What?!?!? I have had the 1990 Publication International for thirty years and never noticed that Puckett. Of course I had to scrutinize every sheet to see what else I missed. There is a good Kruk, but that is about it except maybe a very blurry Hojo behind a pitcher at 3B.
Most superstars from the 1980's seem to have a fair amount of cameos, but for some reason these guys do not. Anyone know if I am missing any for these guys?

I need the Henderson experts to weigh in on this cameo. Additional player clues on the back.

Traffic on my cameo webpages has taken off recently so I was wondering if this thread had anything to do with it, but it hasn't been updated in a few years. Even though this is not a guy I track, I was amazed how many cameo cards Matt Stairs has on Alex Gonzalez cards in 1998. All of them are...
Ha ha, just trading excess Mike Schmidt’s for stuff I thought I could sell. Apparently some dealers were not on the up and up and I learned grading is not in my wheelhouse.
Back in the early 1990s when I first started dabbling in trading cards, I would buy Mike Schmidt’s at Minnesota cards shows and sell or trade them in Philadelphia. I mostly picked up oddball stuff, but dabbled in some rookies.
I decided to send some Tiffany’s and rookies to PSA with horrible...
I've never really looked into these because I assumed there was a checklist. I would like to get some, but the last thing I need is more bulky figurines in my basement!
