It quit being friendly when the licensors started raping manufacturer to the tune of 20-30% (in turn screweing the customers!)...
This is about principle. Pure and simple.

As a point of clarification, THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION EVENT. Even the website says its open to ALL CLASSES OF TRADE/
Yes, there is a contract. Read the actual lawsuit through Cardboard Connection and you will see more "facts"... BG
A few thoughts:
#1- they took my money and confirmed my booth, then booted me after being threatened...
#2- it is ILLEGAL for competitors to blackmail, threaten, bully or otherwise induce a party to break a contract or tortiously interfere with a competitors business.
#3- I sold nearly $20...
So, let people F you over and take it laying down?
Don't think so.. BG
p.s.- we did attempt 10 time to resolve without this, but as we learned more about the behind the scenes of this episode, the more we knew it had to come out.
Actually, this is false.
The show IS allowing unlicensed.
We were told specifically in writing that our "banning" was due to my speech at last years event...
In addition, this speech and any "alleged" format changes occurred BEFORE my contract, establishing prior knowledge.

p.s.- This is...
Yes accidentally..,
You get 1000 and use 400-500 before am athlete dies...that's why you still de duke snider and Stan Musial sigs in some products..
I just used my last Larry Hagmans and I still have James Gamdolfini myself ..
This is the good part it the sticker controversy I guess.. BG

It is a piece of trading card history as it is a PLAYER LICENSED (same licensing MLBPA give Panini) card ...
It is definately part of trading card history.. Symantics really necessary?
The card is a piece of history.
BG
P.S.- saying they are anonymous minor leaguers is very short sighted and clearly not knowledgeable about the players...
If this is a question for me, we are guaranteeing that the opatch indeed comes form a jersey worn by the player and the patch's origin is authentic.

To answer your questions:
1> we used replicas as we had done so in football without negative feedback... Based on customer feedback, we will use authentic jerseys in next years baseball set.
2> The inscriptions cards are designed for the player to add an inscirption if they wish.. For many...
First, it took a year to build this.
Second, doing it on card is possible technically, but I just ran the numbers and factory cost would have increased over 85% due to massively increased print costs and autograph acquisition costs..
Stickers at $120 box or on card at $200?
Interesting...
