Greinke to AZ! I didn't see that coming. With the front-line starters off the FA market, I'm not sure how the Giants can improve their rotation this off-season without making a stupid trade (e.g. Duffy + Panik for Shelby Miller). -

Woah, did ya'll see that 2015 Topps Pink Matt Duffy just hammer for $133.50? The other 3 to sell on Ebay went for between $51 and $57. -

I like the signing. I hope 2015 was a development step, instead of a fluke. I saw that the Giant signed Kyle Blanks to a minor league deal. He should help Sacramento win some games this year. -

Yup. Liriano, Nathan, and Boof Bonser for AJ. AJ was not a good fit. Liriano was a top notch prospect, and he showed promise as a starter, but injuries bit him. Nathan immediately turned into an elite closer for the next 6 seasons, Giants had likable scrubs and an unlikable Armando Benitez... -

I haven't heard anything, so I can't really comment. However, with Affeldt gone, I wonder who's going to step forward as the team spokesman/ambassador? Affeldt did that job so well for years. I don't see Posey taking that role. -

Either that or they're freeing up funds to go bonkers on a FA arm. Saw a cleaver observation about Nori Aoki on Twitter today: Aoki spent the last 2 seasons in KC and SF, but has no rings to show for it. -

Well then...... maybe the Giants prospects in Bowman Draft and Elite Extra Edition will be a little cheaper this off-season? If the Giants can land two solid starting pitchers this off-season, they're gonna get that even-year mojo going again in 2016. -

Back when I played in high school, if I started out of the box like Harper did on that pop fly, the coach would likely pull me from the game and have me spend the next few innings doing pushups. -

Impressive display from rookie Jarrett Parker today. The cynical fans are calling him Jarrett Bowker. Parker seems like a better athlete than Bowker was though. I noticed this back when Parker's Elite Extra Edition card came out. His base auto is on-card, but his #/50 auto is a sticker.
