Spanning from 1981-1995, which are your favorites?

For me, the '84 Topps Traded and '86 Donruss The Rookies always give me that warm nostalgic feeling.

I Love the design of The Rookies and the memory of all the big time rookies which came out of it.

And there's just something with the Traded set. Maybe all the big time pitchers who had rc's and the Rose card.

Love the 84 Topps with Gooden, Saberhagen & Gubicza, but my favorite is the 86 Topps. Probably a combination of nostalgia since it was the first one I ever owned and having a great rookie crop.

1986 Topps has to be my favorite. Like some others, but that's the standout for me.

It's not in your time line but I liked 2001 topps fusion. Traded sets for a bunch of products in one set

It's pretty much a toss up between the 1986 sets. If you take inserts into account, I also like 1993 Select R&T, 1994 Score R&T, and 1994 Sportflics R&T.

My favorite set though is outside of that timeline, which is 2005 Topps Update. Along with the coveted draft picks, there were also postseason highlights, sporting news stars, league leaders, and a few other subsets. A pretty loaded set.

1986 Donruss Rookies. Even though it's worthless now, at the time, it was THE set.

Will Clark, Robby Thompson, Kevin Mitchell, Bo Jackson, Ruben Sierra, Bobby Bonilla, Barry Bonds, Wally Joyner, Doug Drabek, Jose Canseco, Danny Tartabull, Cory Snyder.

It was the object of my early-teen card lust. I still get a little bit of a nostalgia-high when I gaze upon that set.

It's not in your time line but I liked the 1974 and 1976 Topps Traded sets. They were the 1st 2 sets that I completed. Not sure why but I never really cared for the traded/update sets after that. Just the regular base sets.
