If you're not too concerned about condition, Sportlots is awesome.
COMC sticks a .25 shipping fee on each card (you either pay it when you buy the card (simplified) or when you ship the card (advanced)).
That adds up pretty fast. On Sportlots, if you try to minimize the number of sellers...
I bought a marked up and trashed 1969 Topps Mickey Mantle checklist that I found in a dime box once. I bought it so I could say "I bought a 60s era Mantle card for ten cents." Heh.
PSA numbers:
(PSA 9 = 4.4%) (PSA 10 = 0.1%) of 10,955 submitted.
I'd be curious to see what a BGS 9 Jeter with all 9 (or better) subs would get if cracked out and submitted to PSA.
Most (if not all) of the BGS 9s that show up on Ebay have 8.5 subs mixed in.
This one? (below) The Extra Edition one is of the Astros prospect with the same name.

Here's the error (SF Matt Duffy picture on Astros Matt Duffy card.
Series going back to KC, where the Royals will get the DH back and the energy from their home crowd.
Peavy and Huddy make me nervous, and Ventura and Guthrie already showed that they can handle the Giants.
Even with the Giants up 3 to 2, I think the final outcome is still a toss-up.
Edit...
New addition to my Giants rookie card collection. He was on the Topps/Coke SGA set this summer, but got his first regular issue card in 2014 Topps Update. I picked up a black one, because they look cool and are low-numbered. :D
He's also starting tonight in LF (over Ishikawa). Maybe he'll...
You can't get him off the roster now, but they don't have to march him out there. Boch has already said that he's pushing Strick and Machi back and moving all the other relievers forward.
However, the bullpen gives me nightmares.
Casilla = usually solid.
Affeldt = solid.
Lopez = lefty killer...
The fact that he had to leave the game with back issues puts a question mark on his availability for the rest of this series.
I'm a die-hard Giants fan, but I have little faith in Peavy, Hudson, and Voggy.
Peavy gets shaky after 50 pitches. Unless the Giants hand him a huge lead, then he...
Seems like Strickland gets lit up every other time he goes out there. Folks were talking about how he's the "closer of the future," but 5 homers in 6 appearances in the postseason? Pff.
The "Random Marlins Fan" was sitting behind home plate again. He was at the 2012 WS too. I found this story written up about him and figured I'd share...
Hmm, ok this is a weird one...
Giants rookie 2nd baseman Matt Duffy doesn't have any cards other than minor league ones.
However, in 2013 Panini accidently put his picture on a card that was designed for an Astros' 3rd base prospect with the same name. So, while the picture is of SF's Matt...
I don't want to see Strickland face another lefty this postseason.
NLDS + NLCS
Righties vs Strickland: 1 for 10
Lefties vs Strickland: 4 for 7, 4 homers
Also, the Giants offense seems Dependant on bad defense and lucky bounces. That's not something you can depend on.
Blanco: 2 for 10
Panik...
Bumgarner is inexplicably better on the road (11-4, 2.22 era, 0.979 whip) than at home (7-6, 4.03 era, 1.244 whip). If Pirates fans really wanted to rattle him, they'd have cheered for him like they do their own players. ;)
