Anyone have a good hook-up for Top-Loads, Penny sleeves, pages, team set bags, etc.? I've checked eBay and a few websites, but haven't found any great deals, so I figured I'd check to see if anyone here has a source that they rely on for supplies (either BCW or Ultra-Pro, I'm not too picky)...
Correct, those aren't from Beckett, those were from a Krause Publication (Base Ball Cards Monthly or something like that).
Sad to say, but I think I still have some of the full issues somewhere, especially the ones with the 1957 Topps design.
I have the framed proclamation Ted Williams received on "Ted Williams Day" here in Boston, along with a bunch of other really cool Ted Williams items (his copy of his birth certificate, etc.).
I'd love to see the Score Bo Jackson signed card, as well as the 1987 Classic Green. If the fees for him at shows weren't so high, I'd probably get both done.
From what I've read, Ripken won't sign any of the FF cards. He may have changed his policy, but that was the last I heard.

It's like seeing my collection (minus football) in checklist form...
BTW Brian, Bob Gibson's rookie card is 1959. You have his autographed rookie card listed as 1958.
Just a thought, but why not do a dual auto of FDR and Truman, or something like FDR and Churchill? Also, it is highly unlikely that a Hitler / FDR cut signature card would be able to be sold on eBay, as an item associated with Hitler like a cut signature would likely run afoul of their...
Guess Brian was reading when we were all spit-balling suggestions a few months back. Perhaps an olympic or negro league themed release is next.
While I love multi-sport releases, I'll be sitting on my hands for this one.
That Snider was part of the 1984 Donruss set (the puzzle that year if I'm not mistaken). Snider has a regular card from the 1983 HOF Heroes set.
The toughest one to get in the set is the Joe Cronin, as he passed in 1984. I'll try to see if I can scan mine tonight (I've debated going after...
The Gold HOF plaques are pretty cheap because they are fairly common (as you have found), don't have much value outside of the signature, and aren't the nicest looking of items due (dark color, etc.), and are an awkward size for cheap holders. I have a bunch of them (including some tougher ones...
My preferred medium is on the HOFers Rookie Card, or failing in that, his earliest possible card I can find. After that, I try to get them on whatever card I can get, including the old HOF Exhibit Post cards (Hugh Duffy, Eddie Collins, Larry Lajoie), or whatever else I can find (I have Connie...
I seriously hope that they include a Jerry Remy autograph in this. Years ago on the BMB, I had made the suggestion. With his increased popularity over the past few years, his inclusion into the FF Autographs would be a real boon.
I like this trade a lot, especially with the inclusion of Sweeney (I'm psyched I held onto his 2005 Super and Red Refractors now, as I think he could do quite well in Boston).
There is no way I would crack those out of the SGC holders. To get a Gem Mint grade on those cards is quite amazing, and you'll leave $ on the table if you were to try to crack them out.
I can just see the headlines now: "Half of the members of a popular sportscard message board were arrested after misinterpreting the title of the post '2011 Morning Thread Secret Santa Show us your Package'. Jail time is unlikely..."
Re: ADDRESSING QUESTIONS ON RRR (please read)
To raise a separate question, if according to Brian's original post the stickers were signed by Durant during the period when he was an UD exclusive, then how were the stickers obtained? Wasn't the point of UD signing Durant to an exclusive...
Are you saying that the seller of the cards (American Icons Texas) is related to BG / Leaf / Razor / Edge-Man? Or just that this appears to be the source BG used for buying these Durant cards?
None have been announced. My guess is that there won't be any until after Christmas (they probably don't want to run the risk of buyers not getting items before Christmas and blaming eBay for it).
