I don't think so, it's probably either an internal stock code from the seller, or possibly some type of reference code from the photographer or something similar. The large lot authentications have nothing to do with the eBay quick opinion option.

Encapsulation would cost about $25 with S&H (maybe more maybe less). While a neat item, it's probably only in the $100 - 150 range when encapsulated (for comparison, I paid about 100 for a much nicer condition vintage signed 1952 Topps Berra).
While I do agree that the plastic ring design isn't the strongest, I think most of us would be using these as a "permanent home" for whatever is going into them (at least that's what I'm intending to do with them). I bought 10 cases (150 binders), and outside of trying to figure out where to...
