Words like "Great" and "Awesome" get used a lot to talk about cards (by me). In this case, words nearly fail me. I truly believe that that is the most significant card I have ever seen. A family heirloom for sure (I still tell the story my Dad told me about watching him steal home in the first game my Dad ever went to). Congratulations.

A card like that would be found in Cooperstown, whereas most of the other cards posted here would be found in the gift shop outside. Truly an incredible card, on a whole different level than most of the stuff posted here. Congrats on landing a masterpiece.

Ty – thanks for the heads up! Fortunately, I’ve got those already (it took me 3 years to land that ultimate dual jersey), but please keep an eye out for me as I wish I could read or even speak Japanese.

Dave – didn’t get a chance to comment in your pick up threads, but those cuts are gorgeous, keep up with the good work brother! Will keep an eye on the Jackie’s cut for you as well. BTW, should we change OMG to OMT now? :mrgreen:

IndyManning – paid a tad over 6K including the buyer’s premium, which I’m not complaining at all. I saw that auction in 08, but couldn’t pull the trigger as funds was not there plus I don’t want to live off debt even it means so much to me. Now I’m really glad and feel so much better it surfaced again cause Tebow knows if it’ll ever see the light of the day again.


Thanks again to those who I knew and whom I will know that commented in this thread, I’ll keep up with the collection and hopefully to chase down many more on my need list in the near future.
