Is this the worst card design ever?

Personally I thought the non-rookie cards in that set looked awesome. But yeah those are pretty bad. I think I have a couple of Rosarios.

True but don't worry, he'll go really cold since I just got him on my fantasy team.

Why is his nickname "5-0"? Don't know if you've ever watched The Wire, but that's their code for police haha

Vogelsong rocked by the Nationals. Tagged for 8 runs in 2.2 innings after having gone 6+ IP in every other start this season.

What is your favorite baseball card memory?

Opening packs on 1999 Topps on my way to Red Sox games with my dad. Was 8 years old.

Have you MADE money with baseball cards overall?

Ha, absolutely not. But I'm fine with that.

If you needed SB this week in Fantasy Baseball...

3rd and 4th SBs of his career tonight, ridiculous. My opponent has him; luckily I'm still up by one.

    Anyone PC Victor Martinez?

My thoughts exactly. I think he lost a ton of his collection in a fire or robbery (can't remember which) and am not sure if he continued collecting after that...

Are You Better Than a Professional Baseball Player?

I did some quick research on this guy, apparently he was the consensus top-rated safety prospect in the country out of high school. He played baseball senior year. Looks like he chose the wrong sport.

Could Jeter be the first unanimous HOF inductee?

This is spot on. I don't agree with it, but I'm sure it's a huge factor in the best players ever not being unanimous.

Excellent game. However, I think they were right to pitch to him. I don't put the winning run in scoring position with Ethier coming up. Ellis might have been able to score from first on a Kemp double, but it would have had to be a real gapper.

Strasburg and his inning limit for this season. What would you do?

I meant a pitch in a major league game. Obviously I know that pitchers throw in the offseason. I agree that if he is to pitch in the playoffs, he should see game action every once and a while the rest of the way. And I'm not sure loss of mentality would be a problem for him. He came back at...

Strasburg and his inning limit for this season. What would you do?

How does shutting him down completely risk reinjury? Pitchers are shut down completely all offseason and don't injure themselves in the spring. As long as he works out safely, I see no harm in him not throwing another pitch this year.

Well, Jim Johnson prevented my fantasy team from having any chance at a respectable ERA this week. Five runs in a third of an inning against the Twinkies?!

Joey Votto leading the NL in doubles with 36

And if he miraculously gets to 67, that will be the most all time in a single season. He's said his goal is to be the toughest out in baseball, and he's certainly achieved it in my mind.
