2008 Tristar Prospects Plus Box - A few very nice hits!
Got a box of 2008 Tristar Prospects Plus Baseball for $23. This is the best value out their. I was able to make another full set using extras I had from other boxes I opened. 2010 Playoff Contenders Box Break
Well if you were a Vikings fan you would be happy. Not the worst box I have seen, but if you are selling the cards, you will certainly take a lose. These boxes are overpriced for me to buy. Too many crappy rookies to pull.- jdhaugh11

4 Hobby Boxes For A Wednesday
I think the 2008 Tristar Prospects Plus Baseball is the best value out there right now. You can get boxes for like $23. 4 Auto's, 1 Jersey and 4 Parallel's #'ed out of 50 or lower along with nearly 3/4th of a base set. There are 57 auto's in the set and about 15 or 16 are pretty decent. 2010 Sweet Spot Break
The price of this product has dropped almost in half and I still haven't bought any of this. Even at $10 a pack this is overpriced. The jerseys are terrible except for a very few, so you basically are looking for the 2 auto's and even those can suck. No patches and no parallel of the jerseys...- jdhaugh11

3 Box Break of 2010 Bowman Draft....AFLAC and a 1/1!
Looks like you got all or most of the case hit in just 25% of the case WTG! I did about as good in my first 2 boxes, then I kept buying. I did decent and got the boxes for $50 each, so I can't complain, but didn't get the huge pulls like I did at first. This is a great product for the price...- jdhaugh11

Yeah it's crap for the price they are selling for. It's a decent promotion, I just thought there would be at least 1 auto per 12 packs. If they wouldn't have given free packs to distributors and cardshops and would have mailed them out once the promotion was over so they knew how much to make...- jdhaugh11

Good call on that, I was thinking the samething. It's the same reason I don't usually buy individual boxes from Ebay because I am afraid that people will open the good boxes and sell the crap. Not always likely, but I would rather spend an extra $5 and have a chance at something good.- jdhaugh11

Yeah even getting the Bryce Brentz auto, which is better than most will get, I will be lucky to get as much as I could have selling the packs. That's awesome. I don't know if you are a big fan of Ackley or not, but once you finish the rainbow and he is called up in the bigs this year and is ROY contender, you could probably sell the rainbow set for nearly $1,000. I think you are exactly right, Topps is holding back on us because they think they will get way more redemptions in than they actually will. That's true about shop owners and distributors getting packs, that really hurts our odds. Here is proof Topps is doing the redemptions backwards. I sent in 13 boxes worth of wrappers in 1 week after the promotion started, yet I have not got them yet. But I just sent in 2 boxes worth of wrappers...- jdhaugh11

Those odds are just terrible. They promised over 2,250 autographed cards and I think that was before they added the USA auto's out of 100 (not the USA Buyback ones), the USA ones were just supposed to be Black Auto's /25. So that would probably add another 2,000 to the 2,250 if there are 20 in...- jdhaugh11

12 packs and not 1 auto? Bad job Topps. Based on estimated odds, you should get at least 1 auto for sending in a case worth of wrappers. I sent in 15 boxes, I was hoping for 2 auto's, now I am not so sure. If I don't get at least 1 I will be really unhappy.- jdhaugh11

Yes, I did get Insurance and Signature Confirmation, I did cover myself there. Will I get my sales fees back if I have to return the money? Ebay charged me $50 and I think Paypal was around $80. I believe I would get most of the Paypal fees back, but not sure about the Ebay fees.
