I could use that one - what do you need in return?
PM returned.
That's a pretty nice one - how much are you looking for on it?
Andy - what are you looking for on the Bowman's Best?
Looking to pick up a few cards. Mainly interested in:
Mike Minor - 2009/2011 Bowman Chrome, 2011 Topps Chrome, 2011 Finest, possibly other stuff as well
Brandon Belt - 2011 Bowman Chrome, 2011/12 Topps Chrome, 2011 Finest
Todd Frazier - 2007 Bowman Chrome, 2012 Triple Threads
If you have any...
I'll be the contrarian and say that I like the trade and would have made it myself. The base card superfractor might have been a different story, but I would have definitely traded the die-cut superfractor for that deal.
BURN HIM!!!
Honestly, those posts crack me up. TBP at times is a master of saying a lot by talking (typing) a little, and that's enjoyable on this message board sometimes.
Anyway, I personally don't like the cliquish nature of the board. I think that's what discourages traffic. But...
Ha ha - couldn't agree more. I've always wanted to ask what sort of process (or is it process of sorting?) is used that I will get 5-7 packages on Monday, none on Tuesday, and then another 3 or 4 on Wednesday. Consistently week after week. Just seems weird that something like that happens.
Well, he bid with less than 2 hours left the first time, and less than 5 minutes the second time, so he doesn't seem like a shill bidder either. He actually had his bid in before m*m started his shill-like bidding in the first auction.
That is a good point - that would be an easier way to try...
I guess I don't get this at all. Why wouldn't f*4 think you are the shill bidder? Your bid activity with the seller is 33% - sure it's not as high as 66%, but 33% isn't exactly evidence to the contrary. Anyway, f*4 still has the winning bid at $12.50 until you come along and bump it to $22.50...
Have the following Mariners cards for sale. Autos/jerseys listed first, then some lesser inserts/parallels, and last are some older Griffey/Ichiro cards. Shipping is free for anything over $20 - negotiable otherwise depending on number of cards.
Hernandez, Felix (SEA) 2009 Topps Series 1...
In agreement with the prior posts - this was a real fun contest. Chris - thanks for all of the thought/work you put into this. You definitely made it easy to participate with the links and everything.
PM sent.
Ugh - seems like a hard one to get positive points on. Although Y4NK335 killed it with bonus points, so looks like I'm out.
Ballpark 1: 233F = Oakland/Oakland Coliseum/1995 = 1,174,310 = 1,174-1,500 = -326
Ballpark 2: 78J = St. Louis/Sportsmans Park-O's/1939 = 109,159 = 109-500 = -391...
Thanks for the heads up - can't complain about that! Interestingly enough, Stengel World Series Titles got more points than I did for Mack Wins.
Very sorry! I definitely should get negative bonus points for reading comprehension...

Says the person who has already posted 3 times in the thread... There is a huge glut of this stuff on ebay when it releases, so somebody cares. And if they stop caring, woohoo for me - more cheap singles on the secondary market and lower prices on a box. I'm not rippin' for flippin', so TC...
Well, I guess it depends on whether you're a 1) collector or flipper, and 2) true RC collector or major-league-uniform RC collector. I prefer the 2010 TC Stanton over the 2008 BC Stanton, the 2011 TC Teheran and Minor and Belt over the BC versions, etc., so that's where I'm coming from.

Seriously, when you add in SS Roy Smalley, how could you...
2009 had Tommy Hanson, which were ridiculously hot at the time.
2010 had Strasburg, Heyward, Stanton, and Castro. Plus the wrapper redemptions.
2011 had Hosmer and Kimbrel. First Beachy autos I believe.
It hasn't been a dud for a long time in my opinion. Aside from curling and scratches...

Also, just to clarify - it looks like you have my 5th ballpark blocked out, but I have it as 323B - did I mess something up?
