Game used Cards - Is anyone still a fanatic over them?

As a player collector I still enjoy cards of my guys, but I'd say game used cards in general hold less magic than they did in the past. As a full sized game used item collector, I've always felt it was a little crazy that card companies would cut up items to put into cards in the first...

Finally Added to my Canizaro Collection

I haven't been around much in the last couple of years, but I wanted to stop by and share the newest addition to my Jay Canizaro collection. I hadn't logged on to Ebay in over a month, but last week I had a strange desire to do so. And I'm lucky that I did, I happened to stumble upon a game...

SF Giants talk and collecting thread

As a Giants fan who lives in Fresno I think it stinks that the Giants decided to move the AAA team to Sacramento, but to have Dusty Baker rub salt on the wound, man if I didn't like the guy after the 2002 World Series I really don't now....from an e-mail sent out by the Sacramento River Cats...

Chatter on twitter suggests that Topps has lost it's NFL license.

If this is true it's a bit ironic and a bit fantastic to me. Topps fought hard to exclude all others from producing baseball cards and now they are being locked out of producing football cards.

    1994 Baseball strike

I remember the Giants starting to put it together and looking like a post-season team with Daryl Strawberry tearing it up in RF and batting behind Matt Williams. I also remember the next spring training with all the scab players in the games, I rooted hard for all of them. To this day I still...

    Anyone a Manny Machado fan?

It actually seems like Buck has been defending his actions, blaming the A's for their "aggressive" actions toward Machado.
