Shelving a brand...
I think they should dump the Bowman Chrome standalone release. Nobody really wants the vet parallels from there, the checklist is usually pretty weak and it would make Draft AND Bowman stronger. Keep the high draft picks in draft and make the Bowman set a bit bigger, but it would be a much... -

I think an approach like this would be cool. Maybe 130 cards in a series, 3-4 base cards in a pack. 4 inserts in a pack including Gypsy Queen, Ginter, Tier One, Heritage base, chrome, mini's, hits, etc... That way, all of the niche brands would be attainable, but rare. Topps would still be a... -

The bigger issue to me than over-saturation is timing of release. That said, I think that a natural progression of releases would help. Obviously Topps 1 first. Then a Bowman, prospect product works. Then A retro product. Then maybe a Topps Chrome Series 1 with all the early season guys... -

2013 Topps Chromedemption is somewhat live!
Yes. One case was 5/25 autos and the other was 10/24. Those aren't really that good of numbers, but Topps is much less likely to screw you per se on some low end, mass run cards vs. some high end, one of ten, one, 25 run cards of hard to get signers. I'm betting 80% of these redemptions are... -

you are right....BC Puigs will get more than the ones from TC. On the other hand, the Profar RC logos from TC will probably do better. -

Question....what do you think about a company just tossing a brand away never to bust it out again? I think there are a ton of product lines this needs to happen to. My feeling is this....maybe it's not every year you release Ginter or Gypsy Queen or Elite (football, hockey, basketball)...but... -

Unscientific? The checklist is weak at best with guys who will sell NOW. There are a few 17-18 year olds in this product that are good prospects...but that doesn't guarantee sell value now. That's a recipe for disaster with the stand alone chrome release. You might get $120 for the Blue Wave... -

2013 Topps Chrome Baseball (Redemption Announcement)
It's not as bad as it seems....but yes, there are a lot of redemptions. Did a case yesterday and feel that I did well, but 2 of my 3 best autos were indeed redemptions. Wil Myers, Bundy, and Yelich seem to all be live....but this will be rough for rip and flippers as the redemptions will kill... -

When joining a group break - do you want all your base?
I think its a nice thing on both parts to give the option. Or you can do a split price for Bowman and say hey, it's $28 shipped for everything or $26 shipped for Hits, RCs Inserts but no base. There are some sets where base are a big deal. There are many sets where I don't want them. Passing... -
