I doubt he would have done it if he didn't have struggles here recently. I think it was a release of tension, and pressure he felt from sucking so bad.
It's not like the other guys on this list are pitching in tough divisions either. The NL and AL wests are worse than the central. It hasn't been until recently that the Rangers have been mashing.
I'm down to one as well now.
Dodgers & Opp. both score in 4+ innings.
I've had either the Dodgers or the Opp score in 6 innings but not both in the same game. :(
I agree. Although the stolen base record takes more than just speed. Henderson walked a ton. The year he stole 130 he was running 78% of the time. That's insane high.
As a comparison Bourn who has been the leader recently only runs 28% of the time.
Still it's an obtainable record compared to...
He has been awesome so far. There's talk that when Jackson returns he might stay and play lf. He's the type of player the tigers need right now. They have no speed other than Jackson. It would be nice to see the two of them hitting first and second.
Injuries scare me. Tulo and Longoria would be pretty risky in that aspect as they get older. I'd rather go Kemp if I was picking from those three.
If I went position player I might go Stanton. He might not end up better than Harper or Trout, but he's more proven. I would hate to spend my #1...
That's a really good point, and one of the major reasons NFL players get in such crazy disputes. They know it could be all over at any point. So they try to get as much per year as possible.
I know one thing. I wouldn't want to play in the NFL if I had a chance to play any other sport. It's...
Interesting. Drafting for the next 10 years I'm not sure if I would go Kemp. He's the obvious choice for the near future. I would be more apt to go with someone in the 22-25 age range. That way I have him for the best seasons.
I think the safest pick would be Kershaw. He's young enough for the...
I know Pujols hasn't been playing up to AS standards, but as we know that doesn't always matter. That said, anyone think there's a chance he gets voted in? Is LA a big enough market to get him in like NYY players? Or does splitting it with the Dodgers eliminate any chances? I can't see Konerko...
In the AL it's Darvish's award to loose. Not saying he should or will win it, but he started with the most hype, and if he's in the running on a good team he'll win.
