2009 Bowman AFLAC Autographs Jameson Taillon #/230 -- One of his earliest autograph, what really caught my eye was that it is jersey numbered! He has worn #50 in the majors with both the Pirates and Yankees.

"New York's pitching staff has now allowed just 152 runs this year, the fewest through the first 51 games of a season in franchise...
2021 Topps Finest Flashbacks Jameson Taillon Yankees Prism Refractor #d/35 -- First Taillon Yankee pickup. Under $10 shipped. Probably could have saved a few dollars if I waited another2 years on this like with the White Refractor above.
I am aware that earlier boxes of Finest, Bowman's Best had cards of different players featured on the sealed box. Literally as a box topper.
I would love to track down boxes with Paul O'Neill to display, either sealed or open. The 1993 Finest Box is my priority if someone has empty boxes laying...
Very cool piece! Did it come in a standard #10 envelope or was it part of a larger promotional item/kit?
Have yet to see an O'Neill in almost 20 years collecting him, whereas other Yankees seem be just sitting on eBay.
Carrol Spinney OMLB Oscar the Grouch Sketch with Autograph -- Not too much of stretch to count this as a baseball pick up. Mr. Spinney was a great TTM signer, but his stuff has naturally been harder to find after he passed away. More famously known as the voice/puppeteer for Big Bird. I Am Big...
I used to be a miler and two-miler. That is what drew me to the Bannister as well.
My other runner card, 1888 N29 Allen & Ginter. Was drawn to the graphics on this, classic design with a red winged foot.
1956 Cadet Sweets Record Holders of the World #7 Roger Bannister -- $5 including shipping from the UK. Late night eBay buy. First Sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year, runner of the first sub four-minute mile, accomplished neurologist.
2005 Topps Yankees Factory Set Exclusive Sealed...
You may have seen this already. Listed twice, presumably by resellers from Japanese auction sites. But a sweet card. If you are looking to save a few dollars you can track down the original listing from Japan there are sites like Jauce, FromJapan, etc that have it shipped locally to them and...
Picked up a couple of Altoona cards of Taillon. Start of a new mini collection, will be on the lookout for more Taillon. Definitely from his days in Altoona, but beyond that I am still figuring out what else interests me. I don't want everything, I will likely stick to just a few higher-end...
For postcards, team issues and poster cards you'll have to be creative with searches. Sellers sometimes don't know how to list them.
Congratulations on 85%, that's impressive!
The bats are alive, but I've enjoyed watching the pitching even more. Just 100 runs allowed in 35 games.
I lived near Altoona 10 years ago, both Cole and Taillon were with the Altoona Curve, Pirates AA team then. Its nice to see both doing well, especially in pinstripes.
@mrmopar - Nice lot! Value aside, it's like buying a Lego set for $200, nice way to spend a few hours going through and sorting out cards.
2017 Bowman Chrome Andy Pettitte Rookie Reprint Refractor Autograph #/99 -- another card which unexpectedly sold for a crazy BIN and I bought back for much...
@Dodgerfan74 -- Unfortunately, not my stands. Those are from the seller's pictures.
2001 Fleer Legacy Derek Jeter Collection Derek Jeter 1993 Ultra "RC" Autograph -- This 1993 Ultra card was not released until 2004 and only as a redemption replacement, ~150 copies if I remember correctly. Much...
2001 Donruss Stat Line Season Paul O'Neill /70 -- completes 1999, 2000, 2001 season/career stat lines, all nine cards are going to look nice on a binder page.
2022 David Cone 1987 Autograph -- rookie card design, but in Yankees uniform with an actual Donruss rookie as a bonus. The 1987 set...
Part of my Heritage Yankees run. Needed it for a long time as well. These were $250 when they were released, now settled $125-150 range when they pop up making me think they are SSPs.
Can't seem to find odds on these. Anyone open 2012 Heritage? How many color variations were seeded per case?
Haven't gotten around to posting. Few things this month. First, an O'Neill from the inaugural Sweet Spot set.
Second, lot of lower-end Mantles from an actual trade. It's been a while since I've been able to work out a larger trade. Was able to clear out a few things for these. The Mays and...
Mirror Red Matsui rookie! I have been partial to the 2003 LCM versus other years. The full color background makes these pop. I was in Cooperstown late in the summer of 2003 when I purchased the latest Beckett issue, The back cover ad still remains engraved in my mind. It introduced me to the...
All of a sudden everyone and everything has a rookie card. A Bitcoin rookie card!?
I remain in disbelief of such astronomical prices, especially outside the four main sports....racing, golf, tennis, UFC, soccer, Marvel, etc. I imagine it is mostly due to the hype to push new wax products and...
First, that is a beautiful looking card of Wander with the trophy, photo, and retro uniform. Just glad it's not a card of a squirrel going for that amount lol.
A combination of product hype, rookie hysteria, and gimmick. I had sold a 2007 Joba gimmick variation during his rookie season and...
