I think Calvin is the better talent, but the more I think about it, I'm leaning the same way as you guys this year...I stole Graham in the third round last season and he proved to be the difference that helped me win the league. I think it's all about the dropoff, and having a TE head and...
90% chance they'll all be out tomorrow morning..otherwise it'll be Thurs morning. Didn't get the package until yesterday due to not being home when Fedex tried delivering it..but there are only a few of you guys this month anyway so it shouldn't take me too long to get it all sorted out and shipped.
I posed the same question on BO and was hoping for some more input here.
Assume these two guys are the best available when it's your turn to draft. Who would you take?
Wouldn't surprise me. It's a shame. He could have put away 5% of his career earnings and lived extremely comfortably off interest for a number of lifetimes.
What's crazy to me is a guy like this not being able to figure out a way to make money outside of basketball. Everyone in the country knows who you are, so it shouldn't be complicated.
-Go on a "Meet Allen Iverson" Tour signing autographs and taking pictures with fans who pay for an admission...
It'll be like other re-pack products...there will be some chase cards and some big winner boxes, but the majority you will probably lose $30-$50 (which is where they make their money, of course). Glorified lottery tickets, not unlike other wax.
Got a bunch of packages in yesterday, will try to get these all sorted and sent off by the end of the week. I'll keep you posted as I get updates, but as always, tag me in this thread or PM me if you have questions. Thanks guys.
Looks average this go around...which is a bit worse than our usual (seems we usually have a great % of 9.5s and 10s most months). Thanks again to all who participated, sorry we didn't get a better GEM rate this time. We'll get 'em in the August sub.

I guess I'd be curious to hear how it's possible to police this? Not a hypothetical debate of whether or not it's right/wrong to police it, but rather, what real action do you take to police/stop it from happening?
They have over 25,000 active listings and even with a staff of a dozen people...
Not a huge fan of one-touches myself unless it's a PC card that I'm not going to grade and don't intend to move. They look good, but there's a little wiggle room and I've seen too many cards pinched between the case.
I always put my graded cards into graded sleeves. Doesn't make sense to me...
Yeah I definitely understand, I just don't think he'll ever be a huge K guy since he has always been a pitch to contact guy with a high GO/AO ratio. But based on the way he has thrown all year, I would be confident with him on the mound in a game two or three of a playoff series; and there is no...
There's one member on Blowout with hundreds of feedback (don't remember the name) who has messaged me a few times about various cards and I quickly with the most asinine strategy I've encountered in recent memory.
Consider a card of $125 value that I have listed for sale for $115.
Him...
The problem with Detroit remains the same every year. They have no consistency in the bullpen so they blow too many close games, which in turn leads them to underachieve all year until about September when they finally realize they need to win the division, and they turn it up a notch. On paper...
Unless some new development comes out that he used PEDs (which there currently is not evidence of), Pujols has to be one of the easiest first ballot locks of the last 30 years.
Why? 10 consecutive years of .300+/30+/100+ to start his career, 3 MVPs (which arguably could have been 5 if Bonds...
It's been awhile since I've made a Rick Porcello post on FCB...thought I'd give it a rest for a few years especially when he started sucking....but now is as good a time as any to break the silence!
Just noting that Porcello has actually been the second best pitcher behind Scherzer all year...
