Oh yeah, found TWO John Updike "Brazil" copies in one day, same shop. One is just his sig and the other is personalized. I felt kind of lucky that day. Also found a Carol Burnett signed book...which is kind of cool. I've got enough inventory to begin building my online store...soon, very...

I would've been frowned upon, a lot. Would have broken that "no autograph" unspoken rule soooo many times. Lol.

Probably not going to move the Dunning yet (unless someone blew me away with an offer). Here's the week's run-down for both of you that care. 1. Frank Lloyd Wright is a confirmed forgery, as I suspected. I really wanted it to be real but, alas, someone tried to pull the wool over. Didn't...

Lee Child is awesome. I'm happy with the bookplate he sent when I requested it...but, if I came across a book of his I would have to snag it. Nice pickup.

Picked up a Billy Beane book today (sorry no pic, just got it a few minutes ago) inscribed to someone named Ray. Can't complain, though. Like Mr. Met, got a gift card to the Barnes and Noble for the Xmas and picked up a Chuck Palahniuk first ed of Beautiful You...his signature is freakin'...

Keillor and Gore. Would be happy with both of them! So, Mule, you might find this interesting. I think I may have found a signed, inscribed book by Frank Lloyd Wright. This could be my biggest find ever if it turns out to be legit. So far my research hasn't told me anything to the contrary...

I see that Singletary book in the 'religious' section of the used bookstore all the time...I always check to see if they are signed (it's a compulsion). He was a beast. Good finds, man. BTW: Just found another copy signed by Jimmy Carter (my third)...so, that's cool I suppose.

I can't even think about the Price deal without wanting to vomit. Friedman, the GM, is normally so bright. But, I think he freaked out as the deadline drew near and took any old shit deal that he could find. Not that Smyly and Franklin are necessarily bad guys or players...they just aren't...

Oh man, that Hiassen would be awesome. Let me know if you want to part with it. Also, the Reggie White...that's a real find at .79 cents man! Nice work. I'm going hunting again tomorrow...I hope to find something decent. Oh yeah, I did find a Lou Holtz last week along with a Robert Harris...

So a while ago I traded Maine Mule something (don't remember) for a Stones Into Schools book signed by Greg Mortenson. He's one of my heroes...Mortenson, not Mule (but, he's cool too). Yesterday...found another Stones into Schools signed copy...lol. Can't hurt to have dupes, I guess! It cost...

I'm still looking for a Woodward. I see those book's signed by Bob Greene all the time (I got one and always pass on more) but haven't found one with Oprah's signature in it yet. So, yeah, it can be funny when you see many of the same book. I'll grab duplicates if they are good (Conroy, Paul...
