Keillor and Gore. Would be happy with both of them!

So, Mule, you might find this interesting. I think I may have found a signed, inscribed book by Frank Lloyd Wright. This could be my biggest find ever if it turns out to be legit. So far my research hasn't told me anything to the contrary. I'll post a pic for you this weekend and you can take a look. Considering strongly getting it authenticated but I'm still wavering on this...

Oh yeah, Mule, I still got that Carter put aside for you!

Got a Barnes and Noble giftcard for the holidays, so I ran in today and saw this guy sitting on the shelf and knew he was destined to be mine

Hate that it's signed on that page...I'd prefer this one...

But I guess beggars can't be choosers...

Also might be the first time I leave one of those stupid stickers on the outside of a book

Picked up a Billy Beane book today (sorry no pic, just got it a few minutes ago) inscribed to someone named Ray. Can't complain, though.

Like Mr. Met, got a gift card to the Barnes and Noble for the Xmas and picked up a Chuck Palahniuk first ed of Beautiful You...his signature is freakin' awesome. Will post pics when I dig out the camera...now, where did I put that stupid camera?

Later yall

Lee Child is awesome. I'm happy with the bookplate he sent when I requested it...but, if I came across a book of his I would have to snag it. Nice pickup.

Found a John Dunning "Bookman's Wake" signed for under two bucks yesterday. Going out of town for business and I will be looking in new locales if I get the chance...cheers!

Two scores for me today- Peter Jacobsen signed "Buried Lies" and first edition Richard Russo signed "Nobody's Fool." I still gotta inventory all my signed books. I have nabbed so many of the last 3-5 months that I can't even remember what I got. I have them all over the house :o

Probably not going to move the Dunning yet (unless someone blew me away with an offer).

Here's the week's run-down for both of you that care.
1. Frank Lloyd Wright is a confirmed forgery, as I suspected. I really wanted it to be real but, alas, someone tried to pull the wool over. Didn't spend a lot for it so I'm not upset...
2. Found the Dunning as listed in a post above. Another Richard Russo That Old Cape Magic (bookplate this time).
3. JA Happ finally got around to signing and sending my card back TTM...over 3 years.

That's it. Hope you all are well.

Google free signed bookplates and you come up with a lot...
My first return came and all I had to do was fill out a form online

I have quite a few pics with some screenwriters I admire. When I worked in film, I attended a lot of premieres and screenings and it's frowned upon to ask for autographs, so I think I have one autographed item (Martin Scorcese on an Oscar poster the year he won for Departed). Favorite person by far is Louis CK, but some other highlights are Guillermo Arriaga, Christopher and Jonathan Nolan, Steve Zaillian, Robert Rodriguez, etc.
