I still think he'll be a solid player but I doubt he becomes a star like he was supposed to. I don't think he'll stick at 3B with the Cubs already having Junior Lake and Baez.
As a Cubs fan I haven't given up on him but damn it would be nice to have Heyward instead

He could end up being very useful piece in a championship team in the future (on whichever team).
