There is a member who discovered pretty alarming evidence of this seller having many altered cards in stock and for sale. While the final outcome is still ongoing, i think there are some takeaways which the hobby needs to address:
- How can BGS/PSA combat this? For serial numbered cards, it can be traced - for non-serial numbered card, less so.
- Are the grading companies even willing to take steps to improve it?
- in light of the findings, how can we put any confidence in buying graded cards?
