If anyone ever found a Ripken with him on the blue side, I'd love to have it. Only seen him on the white side, and know of 2 others that have one, but none with him on the blue.

I sent a TTM request to him a few years back and got one signed but it says "Player Issue" (or something like that) instead of promo. Haven't seen this one though.

This sample card had the set named 1998 Leaf Rookie & Chase. The actual set was then named 1998 Leaf Rookies & Stars.

If I could find an old Beckett magazine, I think I remember there being an ad for that set and it was called Leaf Rookie & Chase. Still, awesome find!

I have two 1984 Fleer 'Blue-Only' Proof Sheets. One w/ the Mattingly RC & the other w/ Nolan Ryan. I can't recall what other higher profile players were on the sheets. The only ones i've ever seen.

Not to sound rude but are you guys sure that isn't just something somebody swiped from a print shop somewhere?

The one I posted, I used to own. Guy had a few of them. All from the same photographer. His story was these are Blue Line Proof sheets (later heard that from another collector as well) These were sent to the photoographer to check for errors before the cards were printed. I know mine was not backdoored from a print shop, as it has a card variation that was never issued.
