Is that what I think it is? :o :o :o :o
If you think it's a '92 Diamond Kings Super, then it is what you think it is! :D

As always, I must give credit to Drew (ajw). A dealer I know had it sitting in his online store for years, but I never pulled the trigger on his asking price because it was sooooo much higher than Beckett said it was 'worth'. Drew told me just how rare the things were, so I contacted the dealer and worked out a very nice price for it and a few other Butler rarities. Every time I show it off, other player collectors validate just how rare the '92 Supers are, so I know I made the right decision in picking it up.

Lets put it this way...I have never even met someone who has seen a Bagwell.I think they are pretty rare!I am just hoping like hell I come across one in a flea market one day.Or...better yet...a whole set.If I do I would be glad to send them to player collectors here for shipping only. Now if I could just find some!

jarcar- Thanks. They said they were unsure if they would assign a grade on the Blue/White or AUTH until they were in hand so I rolled the dice. They told me they only AUTH the Aqueous. Day or 2 after I send them the 1 Aqueous, PSA starts assigning grades for them. lol. So now I have around 75 Aqueous at PSA and due to recent purchases, only keeping a few.

2002 Leaf Beckett Samples Gold
LeafBeckettSamplesGold.jpg

The gold samples were supposedly 10% of the full sample run of each card. Sorry if they were posted already.

Some of the ones I listed were the Beckett ones as well....and here is a theory that maybe people can help out with. Yes the Golds were 10% of the print run, but if anyone has a december version of Beckett we can try to figure out how many of each the regular and golds were printed. In the back of the magazine they have to list how many magazine were sold for the year ( both subscriptions and newstands/hobby shops) buy using these figures and the number of cards in the set you should be able to figure out how many of the regular run was inserted, then we can take 1/10 of that number to find out the gold set....My thought is that there maybe 100 to 200 of each regular insert of each brand/player so that means that maybe 10 to 20 are the golds....does this make sense or does anyone else have any ideas on this subject??

Wish I had mine still. With the free 2 card grading cert and the sample cards, my subscription was free with a little extra. In the year or 2 I rec'd tehse i think I had around 3 golds.

The golds are hard to find and most people don't know what they have and you can find them online or the bargin bins at shows...would love to know for both Football and Baseball what sets were inserted so I can find all of the samples that I need...maybe someone on here has this info??

My 1st batch of PSA Aqueous grades poped. Still have another 56 in another sub. Grades are as expected. Decided not to pursue the set as I realized I cannot afford too. Keeping most of the stars, DK and few others. Glad to have them in a slab.
