200lbhockeyplayer said:It's called "Valiant" for eff's sake, anyone know the definition of valiant? And once everyone understands that definition, does anyone reasonable actually think that name applies to retread designs? With this concept, and it seems like people want it, perhaps Leaf Resurrection is a better brand name.RZimm11 said:Having the Valiant line become the "Heritage" of LEAF would be cool. That would be a great way to make use of all the designs BG has access to. One line, with a set per year of past designs, with some twist.
But, as bolded, there still needs to be a set/sets that New LEAF has that are all their own.
Seriously.
Leaf has a huge opportunity to make a difference, make a splash, but riding the coattails of the technology and designs of other companies isn't really seizing that opportunity.
Wow, your ver passionate about your opinion, yes?
Anywho......
Just thought I'd remind you of the definition of Valiant.
val·iant
? ?[val-yuhnt] Show IPA
adjective
1.
boldly courageous; brave; stout-hearted: a valiant soldier.
2.
marked by or showing bravery or valor; heroic: to make a valiant effort.
3.
worthy; excellent.
Ever heard the term "valiant effort"?
Now try and focus on the 3'rd singular definition commonly accepted as a proper definition, and then ask yourself how this would not play perfectly with a product based on 'excellect & worthy' designs of the past...
