How did the Yankees trade away their whole team and then start winning games?? Doesn't even make sense! Oh well, as long as you guys win all your games vs BAL/TOR and lose all your games to us, you guys might take a WC spot and we'll take the division. Deal?

It was 1978, and in mid September the Yanks trailed the Sox by 4. They went to Fenway and swept the 4-game series. The “Boston Massacre”.

We all know how the season ended. LOL!
