Assuming that all of these guys are free to go anywhere they want, what do you see as the best pairings?
Obvioulsy people would say Lebron/Kobe or something of the nature, but I dont think they could actually co-exist on the same team.
My pairing would be Lebron/Carmello. I would say Kove/Melo but LA already has too many weapons and Melo wouldnt survive I dont think.
Having said that, I dont think Melo is a top notch superstar. I dont know what it is, but after watching his Olympic performance (which he was stellar) and what few games I have seen of him in the playoffs he seems like he needs someone else to be a superstar. He has always seemed kind of soft to me and thats why I believe he was so good in the olympics. I think matched up with a superstar who can pass in Lebron they would not only co-exist but run the East for the next 12 years.
