Blowout's price on their website is $3150 if that helps any.

perhaps andrew doesn't buy from Blowout. I would think that you can choose to buy from people you have had success with even if it means paying a little more.

....ok..........

I thought the idea was to get the best deal possible for people. It's not like Blowout is bad.

$100 is $100.

Re: '05 Playoff Absolute Update Team Case Break - Now Open

well that may be true but if he has had a really bad experience with them why would he be required to buy from them? If he has had bad dealings with them I dont see why he has to go with them again.

So if you got bad shipping, poor product, and horrible customer service, you would go back to them just because they are still cheaper? I'm not saying thats what Andrew had to contend with but perhaps he has a set group he buys from. Pricepoint aside, if people don't like the price they won't buy in. Plain and simple.

I think you're getting a little excited about nothing. People were quoting Blowout at $3250. I noticed on their site price was cheaper than their eBay price, $3150 so I mentioned it.

All this defensiveness honestly sounds like an attempt to perpetuate overcharging.

I'm getting excited? Obviously you dont' know me that well. I'm chilling, laid back and lovin life. I have just seen that people today have come out and started complaining about prices being charged for spots in group breaks being too high. I have been dealing with this since this morning and for no reason. There is no overcharging going on that myself or other staff members can see. I hate to drag Andrew through all of this as he is a very upstanding member and I find it really really hard to believe he would screw anyone.

Sorry to lump you in with the rest but with your verbage in your post it seemed like that was the avenue you were going to take.

Be easy bro. Remember, we were cool once on the old site.....LOL

Seems like a bunch think I am out to get you guys. Screw you over and run away with your money....

That is not me at all. This one break has become a such headache and I am thinking about not doing anymore breaks.

I really thought people enjoyed these.

Nobody has factored in the time or hassle either. If he makes 25-50 bucks, who gives a damn. I am sure he has better things to do than sort and package your cards...

Chill out guys its the Holidays!

Sorry I mentioned anything. The next time I can save someone a hundred bucks I'll keep my mouth shut.

That said, if anyone wants to send me $100 I will accept.

Thanks

Andrew,

Don't listen to a few of those knuckleheads. You're a great member and upstanding person. I would like to see one of those guys conduct a break like this. I haven't run the numbers and shouldn't have to. There are some great mods on this staff who've probably checked out the numbers and would've PM'd you if they thought something wasn't right. Break away, buddy. I would buy in to this break if I could spare the extra money but, right now I can't. I did, however, get in on the DLP break and can't wait for that one to go down. Keep up the good work.

I think these guys don't see where all the money goes. They don't factor in Paypal, shipping, your time and effort, supplies, etc.

Jeff

This looks like one fun break, Andrew. Wish I could get involved, but as you know, I just as a little trip that cost some money. Freakin' Romo.

Re: '05 Playoff Absolute Update Team Case Break - Now Open

My God people...quit your bitching!!

If you don't like his price points, don't buy in. How difficult is that?

I think those who do buy in can figure out what the costs are and if they feel he's charging too much. And if they feel it's too much, though won't buy in!

Guess what? I'd love to get in here, but $125 isn't worth the risk to me. So guess what else? I'm not buying in. Oh, and I don't feel the need to bitch about it.

No one is forcing these guys who do buy in, to buy in. They do it because they feel the price is fair.

If Andrew makes some money off it...good for him. Other than what slots he buys, he gets NOTHING out of these. So if he can make a few bucks, awesome...but I'm guessing after supplies, fees and shipping, he's not making much.

Damn you guys are being a bunch of whining babies. Now get over it and let those who want to participate join in!
