+1...I'd like it to stay in the $100 range if possible, but I'd be in for one....

I am looking and looking for cases. The one case that might give us a problem is 2008.

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break

Here is an idea however about removing teams if we do a team draft. My two favorite teams are the Brewers and Mariners and if I get the last pick, I would want one of those teams.

So I say this. We knock out whatever teams which are really slots and that person can pick whomever they want. For instance, let's say we have 5 teams/slots knocked out and they are the Cubs, Astros, Mariners, Pirates and Brewers. Someone at spot 25 would rather choose the Mariners over the last team such as the Phillies that are left over. In this case, the Phillies would then be dropped into the pool with the other teams that were taken out and the same process that Andrew did before by drawing numbers out of a hat to see who got the card.

The idea with the team draft is for some people to pick their favorite teams. Now of course, we are dealing with money so the best overall team will likely be taken in that spot...but what makes this interesting is, everyone has different reasons for collecting cards, it's not always about the value.

In the end, I say we don't take out any teams, rather just cut the slots down to 25 or whatever and whatever teams are left at the end, they go into the hat pool.

Actually, I didn't consider this before I asked for 3 spots. At this price or higher, I think 2 spots would be good if possible.

I kind of like that idea. I am game for what everyone else wants.

Also just a reminder this is CHROME only.

andrew what happens to the bdp parallels and game used?

all hits go to the teams, if a bowman red is pulled from one of the teams not picked, we go to the hat and draw, same goes for bowman blue and whites from the other years

I think a product like finest will be better for a team draft. This set is more for prospectors who want a specific player not a team.

i voted to keep it the way it always was, which is to do a live team draw that andrew has done since the beginning.

i like em simple but that's just me

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break

ok got some pricing

if we do 25 slots - $106

24 slots - $111

23 slots - $115

I keep forgetting that 08 is a 12 box case

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break - Pricing Update

ok, got pricing and I have ordered the cases, I will have them in hand tomorrow. Now we just need to figure out how many slots and which way we will be doing this. So far the poll is saying keep it the same.

I think we get rid of the same 6 from 07. Cubs, O's, Astros, Angels, Rockies, Pitt

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break - Pricing Update

I see no problem going with 23 slots rather than 24/25. At only a couple dollars a slot I would much rather pay that small price to not get one of the bottom 7 teams.

I also think the idea of doing a team draft with 23 spots and the remaining 7 teams are left out but i'm fine either way

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break - Pricing Update

As much as I'd like to pick the Dodgers and be done with it I like the idea of keeping it the same. Part of the fun has always been seeing which team I get and then figuring out who I might receive so I say keep it the same. This way we can expand our collections by possibly getting some teams we wouldn't normally collect.

I would be in at any of those prices.

As to team selection, I'm in either way that is decided. I like the idea of being able to draft the team I want, but the way you have been doing it is fine too.

Re: 06-07-08 Draft Team Case Break - Pricing Update

ok, new poll is up. Team selection will be a team draw like before. I will try the team draft for another product like 09 finest.

now the question is 23 or 24 slots
