06 longoria base auto wow!!

I JUST GOT 99 for a zimmerman base

DANG ! i Sold by bgs 9 X for 150

Man, and I passed up several of those for around $140 last year. I was so close to buying one and decided against it... as for the future, I could see someone like Michael Stanton hitting $100 sometime, but then again, it's tough to project a guy like him. The same thing happened with Michael Burgess and his prices have dipped since then.

I'll be honest here, I was one of the guys simply not able to believe that at $180+/- there was much room to grow(for now) on his base chrome auto's. I thought it would take several years in the bigs to regain dominance and put up numbers like we are seeing him do now. I am pleased to see that I was wrong! He could be the next Pujols, something I really never saw coming. I knew he was great, but this great, this soon? Wow!

Still, it's a long year..

I'm 99% positive Incline Investments was the one arguing that selling Longoria during the playoffs was the wrong time to be selling. Looks like he was right.

Actually, I argued this point as well. And there was another thread that showed what Longoria Chromes were selling for during the playoffs, and what they were selling for during the offseason. Longoria Chromes dropped nearly in half. Nobody was telling cardtreasury to sell and NOT buy back. They were telling him to sell during the playoffs while they were high, then buy back during the offseason. If everyone had done that, they would be making double what they are making now.

It was me that said sell at $200 and rebuy in the offseason. Whoever I was arguing with said hold hold hold. These were available for $120 or so in the offseason so clearly that was still the right call.

Maybe I should send all my nicely centered Xfractors that have Xfractor lines to PSA so they can gem mint! That Xfractor line at the bottom would never be gem mint through bgs... Food for thought!

Besides the fact that Longoria is awesome he's been getting huge publicity since the day he was drafted and he's on the new ESPN cover. They all add up to big time auction prices.

james, sometimes i think psa is the way to go when i see end prices on these bowman chrome cards. i have seen quite a few psa 10's outselling bgs 9.5's

Do you just put the item number itself, or do you need to include the word "item number"? I tried to put the item number (the twelve? digit one, and it didnt work.
