I know we are far from done here, but I'd like to say thanks again to Tom for doing this - between the different concept (player draft), the trades, and buying/selling of picks, this has been a hell of a lot of fun so far !

Fun indeed, but I'm guessing it is a whole lot easier for you to say being that you have Pick #1, 17, 19, 25, 31, etc. ( :shock: dang, I started typing this response only after seeing you had the #1 spot & I was gonna say that I'm sure it would be fun for ANYONE with the #1 spot, but "WOW", you've got the best picks overall- meaning that no one has as many low picks as you do!!! WAY TO GO bud!

The buy in would be the same. From the breaker's end, it would be the same. You pay for a slot, then the order is randomized, then the guy with the #1 pick gets to pick which lot he wants.

The key would be to get everyone to pay before you bust the case.

Basically, the people with the high slots would have some big profit potential. At worst, the case is a bad break and everyone just picks as normal. At best, you hit some monster card and the #1 draft pick nets someone a couple hundred (or more).

It's a really interesting idea.

Yea, it would obviously need some thinking and tweaking. Im just trying to come up with a new idea because the team breaks seem to have started to get a little stale.

Yeah believe me "I KNOW" (as you were the person along with jlecates that I was cursing as I initially read our draft results)!!! :lol:
