I've been buying a lot of this product off ebay.

First off, Chad Jenkins managed to get his Autographs in on time (huge for me, a blue jays fan)

Secondly, autographs are selling for so frakin' cheap and it seems as though sellers are listing a lot of it at a time. In the world of Canada, you can save a lot of money buying 10-15 cards from someone as opposed to looking for a great deal.

I'll pay 3.50-5.00 for a Borchering Autograph any day, really.

Cause the dude is a beast!

still haven't bought a box yet

think i cracked about 20+ boxes last year

when the "top" rc gold ref auto can't crack even $50, that's a scary thought

remember last year? montero, beckham, buster, santana, even tillman's ref and gold ref sold very very well. on top of the mantle jersey and longoria auto plus the wbc redemption, it was a very fun bust with the price tag but i don't know this year.....i checked some ending price on borch gold and it sold for close to, if not less than the bcdp blue ref auto....

i think ill follow you guys and bust a box or two of elite in the near future but sterling.....doubtful!

dave

i do agree that the red and black ref looks gorgeous from the scans!!!

I don't mind that the checklist is the same as Bowman Chrome. In fact I would be really pissed if the checklist wasn't the same as Bowman Chrome because if the checklists are different, that means Topps is milking it's prospects throughout all of their products, which is something that has been heavily criticized on here in the past. The problem with Sterling to me as I pointed out earlier is its supposed to be a high end prospect product but it there is nothing it does to differentiate itself from Chrome. Well, I take that back. It does seperate itself from Chrome, but only in a negative fashion (insane SRP and sticker autos). I would love for Sterling to dethrone Chrome as King of the prospect world using the same checklist, but the only way that will happen is if they start creating cards that have the characteristics of a high end product.
