AMAZIN HOF COLLECTOR said:wideright said:My opinion would be High BIN/BO for starters just to get a feel for possible value. If one comes in that's insane or someone hits the BIN, then there you go. If you set it at 1K (just a guess, I have no idea) I doubt you'd be upset if someone hit it. But again, I have no idea what to set the BIN at. If you get no offers the first go around, maybe do a 7-day with a high starting bid and a reserve. I'll bet you get some pretty good offers for it. Good luck with it Joe!
Having a hard time trying to figure on a price. Checked a few places with no luck. History for sale sells framed pieces with his picture and a cut auto for $6000-$9000! I dont know anything about them they could be like Steiner and just priced crazy. I was hoping for $400 now I am starting to dream a little. I hink .99 cent auctions are great for buyers because they know it will sell. I am afraid I word the auction wrong or not enough exposure and I lose chunk of change on it. I think the high BIN w/ offers sounds good. Then the movie collectors in the know can give me a ballpark idea with their offers. I hate selling an item I know nothing about!
Thanks for the ideas!!
I'm in the same boat you are with the hugh duffy cut there is no cards out there for me to compare to and cut sigs on index cards don't sell nearly as well as actual cards. And some auction houses have sold some sigs for crazy amounts!
I am torn!
