Went to Wal Mart and had the itchin' to bust some wax. I picked up a blaster of 2009 Topps baseball that comes with a commemorative patch. The patch card was Carl Yastrzemski commemorating the 1972 All Star game in Detroit. Pretty cool pull, but I'm a Yankees fan.
Anyways, got a lot of base and a few inserts, which were:
Topps Town (1 per pack):
Alex Gordon, Jake Peavy, Johan Santana, Brandon Webb, Roy Halladay, Ryan Howard, Grady Sizemore, Hanley Ramirez, Evan Longoria, and Albert Pujols (which had a gold background rather than silver like the others...weird.)
Turkey Red inserts (1:6 packs):
Kosuke Fukudome
Brian McCann
Gold Parallel (1:10 packs)
Daric Barton
Legends of the Game (1:8 packs):
Roger Maris (Woohoo, Yankees PC!!)
As for the UDX, I got Matt Holliday base, Jeremy Hermida base, Jermaine Dye Die Cut, Chipper Jones XPotential, Paul Kenerko base, and Evan Longoria (RC)
Overall I was pretty happy. Those commemorative patches are selling like hotcakes on ebay. Thanks for looking guys.
