Is it just me or is there more trades a week before the trade deadline this year than in years past. I really dont remember this many trades last year. Is this the case or have the Pirates just traded everyone away making it seem like more this year than usual??

I've noticed more minor/middle of the road type players.

Besides Lee and Halladay there weren't too many other big names out there.

The Pirates have traded 13 players from their opening day roster.
