CASE BREAK
- One (1) Dual-Signed memorabilia card, Button patch or Laundry Tag in every 6-box hobby case!

Will you tell your customers you pulled or just leave the other 3 packs out for them to buy?

Thats a case hit eh? I'll just destroy the other 3 I guess. ;)

I'll be sure to show my customers the button.

What would you do Andrew?

Nice-looking cards....much better than last year's design in my opinion.

I liked it last year. The serial numbering on every card is a big improvement for sure.

I would open the rest of the case.

So by that logic, every time I see a case pull pulled from one of my products I should immediately start opening the remainder of the boxes from that oparticular case.

Is that what you're saying?

If a customer pulls it, no. But if you pull it, I would say showing your customers would be the nice/fair thing to do.

I will certainly be showing off the Damon to just about anyone that walks into the shop this week, I agree.

Kinda funny how people used to actually buy cards from me 20 years ago, no inserts, no case hits, no cut autos...wonder what they were thinking back then?

Yeah. 20 years ago before there WERE those things.

Today, everyone paying price packs for modern packs KNOW about the hits.
I don't think you should greet every customer in the store with "The case hit has been pulled", but I do think you should be honest anytime a customer asks.

I'm just wondering if you put your retail pricing out of your pocket into the drawer for the pack or if you figure yourself out a freebie by spreading the cost across the rest of the product you sell. I'm stillt rying to get a feel for what kind of owner you are since you tried to fleece the board for PayPal so that you could "generously" buy a KNOWINGLY grossly overpriced card from another one of your customers/buddies when you knew it was worth way less than what the guy was wanting.

And just clarify the product -- is this pack the "box" or is it one pack out of a box out of a case?

No dude, when I open a pack I get what's due, win or loose $.

I paid $150 out of my own pocket to get Jason Wong his card - I tried to help out a fellow FCBer, not to fleece anybody. Mr Wong will testify to that. I also just sent Chippernate a free T206 card. Ask those guys what kind of owner I am.

It is one of 4 packs (3 hits per pack) out of a box.

I opened a case of Ballpark and the pack that had a button card felt like a brick in my hand, those button cards are as thick as the quad bat barrels from Epic. My button was Markakis #d to 4 and I got a quad spokesman jersey of Lebron Kobe,Jeter and Griffey #d to 25 and a quad 500 HR jersey of Ted Williams, Manny, Griffey and Thome hand #d to 15 ( I left them at the shop I go to- to be put on ebay eventually.)
