1 year Anniversary Contest / Give away??

I PMd Gilmo about this and I know he has his hands full with the Nationals and all that goes with it. But we are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of FCB on August 7th or so. The National ends on August 2nd the following weekend would be perfect for the give away. Since he will have alot of giveaways at the National I think it would be a really good idea to have one right after the National and hopefully with the new people checking the site out they will stick around. We could really use a nice jump in the football and basketball boards.... so hopefully this is our chance to really grow.

I know I can come up with something.... $50 eBay Gift Certificate or maybe find a decent card to give away.

I just wanted to throw this out there now since we are a month away.... maybe get the ball rolling if enough people show interest.

I know we have a good month before the Anniversary.... but was thinking it might be easier to have a Contest Forum at the top of the page and we can have contest threads in it. Im not trying to run anything... id let the mods do that.

I might be able to scoop up a few items as long as the contests aren't the ones where a mysterious number generator conveniently selects who wins. Those are a slap in the face and just tease those that actually thought contest = legit.

They probably don't. In fact I would bet that they still think that what they did is the best thing they could have done.
