If I were the Orioles GM I would go after Chase Utley and send the Phillies several top prospects. Utley would make the O's lineup really good.

After Monday night Cliff Lee might not be going anywhere. The scouts that were at the Phillies/ Giants game were not impressed with Lee's outing. He only has 1 more start before July 31st. He also made a statement indicating that he'd like to stay in Philly. But the Yankee$ really need starting pitching.

Very loose rumors that the Brewers would be interested in Ryan Howard as I am sure the Phillies would want to ditch that contract. They'd have to pick up a ton of it though.

Earlier I would have said Alex Rios to the Yankees for the 2 they just traded away for Chase Headley from San Diego.

So now the Cubs will trade away Lake, Barney, and schierhotlz to anyone who has a boat load of prospects. Not that these guys will pit a team over the top. The cubs already got rid of there best 2 chips so they will be a little bit of the sellers now.

As much as I'd like to see him stay, I say Kurt Suzuki to a contender (cough, St. Louis, cough) along w/Casey Fien or Jared Burton for maybe a Jon Jay & a couple middle tier prospects.

For the Cubs rumors:

David Price to the Cubs has been gaining some steam. He has expressed desire to play there and help bring a World Series Title.
- Not sure who they would give up for him, potentially one of their surplus SS prospects. They would need to give more than the deal they just made with the A's IMO. Price would absolutely kill it in the NL.

Edwin Jackson being shipped to the Yankees has been tossed around, given the Yankees need for a SP. Cubs would need to eat at least some of the remainder left on his contract (26M)

Also other Cubs names I've heard on the "official" block are Luis Valbuena, James Russell, Carlos Villanueva, and Wesley Wright. However, besides Arrieta, Rizzo, Castillo and Alcantara, I've heard about every other name on their MLB roster mentioned in rumors.

Edwin Jackson is terrible, like he was tonight against the Padres .Cashmam has done good so far with McCarthy, Headley, and possibly Capuano. I hope the Brewers go after Howard.
