10 packs of World of Sports....can't believe my eyes...

Got off of work early today and decided to go shoot the breeze at my local shop. I decided to open some cheap World of Sports packs, just looking for a hit or two of people I actually knew.

Boy oh boy did I get one

I don't think that one dig at the actual card is going to prevent the guy from enjoying his great pull.

Another dig is Upper Deck's tackiness in not being able to use any players' images.

It makes the card slightly less appealing.

Pictures or not, it's still an incredible card. Quad autograph of the four best shortstops ever. How can you be upset because of no pictures? I wouldn't be.

Congrats! I'm sure it's a money maker type card and if you are selling it, you are sure to do well!

I do happen to agree though that the lack of pictures brings the overall appeal of the card down for me too. It just seems like a boring item - for lack of a better word. Kind of plain I guess.

I'd sure love to see them all on a baseball though and there is are no pictures there, but I just can't explain why that would be so much more appealing.

Thanks for the input guys. Even without the pictures and with stickers that are not perfectly straight, I am still happy with the pull

Even better is I went back to the same shop today and opened ONE pack of 08/09 Rookie Threads Basketball and ONE box of 10/11 Ultimate and got these guys:
