Unfortunately, while autos are a big draw to the product, refractors are just as popular, leaving many LCSs in the cold as the high market price of hobby product makes the base price of retail all the more appealing. Who wants to pay $110+ for a box of hobby when you can pay $59.97 for 3 blasters, which will give you the equivalent number of packs, and just as many colored refractors?

Mix in some well designed insert cards, plenty of colored refractors, a pile of rookie autographs; many on card, along with a rookie crop performing very well on the field and there will be heightened demand. The product kicks the snot of anything Panini has put out this year. I made sure to load up on my favorite players as the parallels become harder to find after the initial flood. I've got a feeling 2012 Chrome will also be a huge hit just from the potential draft/rookie crop alone. Don't wait too long to buy next year.

This is exactly why.
Shops didnt pre-order as much, which dropped initial offering prices, but because of how awesome the set is and looks, combined with on card autos may make this product the best of the year when all is said and done. Five Star will be its only competitor unless Panini finds a way to make NT look better than an overpriced box of prestige.
