In 1998, Mark McGwire broke the previous home run record of 61 set by Roger Maris. That same season, Sammy Sosa also surpassed 61, ending with 66.

Last night, Drew Brees passed Dan Marino's mark of 5,084 yards in a season. Next week, Brady, with 4,897 yards, could very easily pass Marino's old record as well.
