Purke, Matzek and Gibson. Unfortunately.

I wonder if he will go back to Mizzou or go the way of Crow if he doesn't sign. I was planning on moving my cards of him, looks like I'll be waiting a year.

From what I've read, he'll go back to college. However, since my first post above, I've also read that Twins' management are "optimistic", so who knows.

Well, as a Missouri fan, I'd love to see him go back!

Tom Haudricourt thinks that kentrail Davis will, in fact, sign with the Brewers.

link to his blog.

Everyone who thought Davis would sign with Milwaukee, raise your hand.

Ok, anyone with thier hand up is a liar or doesn't know anything about Davis. I thought he was a sure-fire college player next year.

I still say Matzek is the only 1st rounder not to sign - Scheppers and Crow will undoubtedly hold out until spring training - really no incentive to have to sign right now. Strasburg signs for 20-25 million.

The Tigers draft is going to look pretty bad if they can't sign any of their top picks. Hopefully they get a deal done with Turner since they knew it was going to go down like this when they picked him.

Hopefully they get Oliver too, but I reallly want to see them sign Turner. I love what this guy brings to the table.

he Rays don't expect to sign either one of their top two draft picks, according to Marc Lancaster of the Tampa Tribune. The Rays expect to receive compensation picks in next year's draft for failing to sign first rounder Levon Washington and second rounder Kenny Diekroeger. Rays executive vice president Andrew Friedman said the team offered Washington a bonus "consistent with late first round picks," but could not come to an agreement with Washington and his agent, Scott Boras.

And THIS is why the Rays have avoided dealing with Boras in the past. When they drafted Washington in June, I did this. ::facepalm::

Today, I'm doing this.

I think you should forget about Washington and be happy to have signed Malm & Bailey. Both are better players and harder signings, IMO.

I thought Washington was an overdraft to begin with.
