Manning got MVP with an 81.8 rating. That was the biggest joke of an MVP performance ever. Considering both Colts RBs ran for 100+ yards EACH, Manning was completely undeserving. He got MVP for the same reason Eli did: his last name. Not to mention throughout the playoffs he threw 3 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Yeah, real impressive!
Allen played well in the finals, I agree there...but all of his stats were down (except FT %), and he had 5 single digit scoring games, one of which was a ZERO in 30 minutes of play in game 7 vs. Atlanta. He only had 4 single digit scoring games for the entire regular season. Hell, Posey and Powe were more responsible for that championship than Jesus Shuttlesworth was.

did you watch the superbowl....the weather was terrible, what manning did against the best defense in the league and a defense that single handedly carried the team to the SB in that kind of weather was MVP worthy, he does alot more than just pass by the way he runs that whole offense himself, and your argument against ray allen did not prove anything that i didnt already say, he played bad in the first rounds but when it mattered most he came through....but like i said your right i wouldnt take either in the playoffs haha

Well if you're going to use the "it was against the best defense in the league" argument, then I think Rhodes (113 yards on the ground) and Addai (77 on the ground and 10 catches for 66 yards) deserve a little credit, not to mention the defense that forced 5 turnovers. But we can agree to disagree

WoW, didn't expect the Rockets play this WELL in Portland!!!
