Very simple rules. 150 slots = 150 players. You are buying a DRAFT PICK, not a certain player. Choose any slot # you would like. Once all slots are filled, they will be randomized (done live on webcam and recorded) into a draft order.
RED = PAID
UPDATE: To clarify on dual cards. I will be taking a deck of cards, shuffle them, take two cards off the top, and whoever draws the highest card gets the HIT. All of this is live on camera of course. If there are four players, I would draw four cards. If two of the same card is pulled (i.e. Ace of spades and ace of hearts), suit ranking would come into play. From highest to lowest: Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds. So ace of spades would beat ace of hearts. The player on the top or left is the first card I draw, player on bottom or right is second card I draw, etc.
For raffles of unclaimed hits, 150 names going into a bin. Once your name is pulled, it stays out of the bin. This way everyone has a fair chance of getting something. If you bought 18 slots, you'll still have 18 entries. Just if one of your entries is pulled, you'll only have 17 entries left. Hope that is clear.
Break will be held live on webcam and recorded/archived if you can't make the break!
EDIT: I changed one box of 2008 UD Heroes (we had 2) for a HTA box of 2009 Topps Series II.
When it comes to your pick, you may choose ANY player that are in any of the checklists.
Think of all the players you could get for 18 HOBBY boxes: Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, David Wright, Alex Rodriguez, Mickey Mantle, Cal Ripken Jr., Nolan Ryan, Ryan Howard, Chipper Jones, Dustin Pedroia, Tim Lincecum, Ken Griffey Jr., Ichiro, and the superstar list goes on.
Plus all the great RC's: David Price, Clay Buchholz, Ryan Braun, Ryan Zimmerman, Ian Kinsler, Evan Longoria, Jay Bruce, Hunter Pence, Josh Hamilton, etc.
Since there are way over 150 players among these boxes, any hit of an unclaimed player will be raffled off to a participant. So if Reggie Sanders is not picked and a printing plate is pulled of him from 2006 Flair Showcase, it will get raffled off to someone. At the same time if a cut auto from 2009 Legendary Cuts is pulled and no one has the player, it will be raffled off!
IN ADDITION: I will be raffling off 10 g/u or autos to any participant throughout the break!
For ever slot you purchase you get 1 name on a piece of paper goes into a bin. So if you take 15 slots, you get 15 raffles. If you take 1 slot, you get 1 raffle.
HERE IS HOW THE DRAFT WILL WORK: Once all slots are full there will be a FINAL date/time set for the draft. It will be held in the FCB chat room. It will take NO LONGER than 5 hours to draft. Each draft slot will have 2 MINUTES to draft a player. If you cannot make the draft date, please submit a priority draft list to me at [email protected] and I will draft for you when it comes time. If you are at the draft and your time runs out, I will automatically draft the next best available player CV wise (in my opinion for you).
