Anyone know anything about this? Apparently there were 2 All-Star games in 1961 and this plate was a gift to players on the American League team at one of the All-Star games. Any info as well as price range would be appreciated. I've never seen these before and as such don't know anything about them. Thanks!

From 1959 to 1962 there were indeed two All Star games per year. Both games were held at different ball parks in that same year but generally contained the same roster of players. The players wanted to increase their pension fund and having two games a year would certainly help that happen.

As for the plate, Nice item but I have no idea as to the value. I do know that players generally receive a gift for participation which mainly consists of a ring at this point but back in the day it was ash trays, plates and any number of items.
