My cousin recently gave me a bunch of cards memorbilia ect to me to sort through, and sell .I found a whole bunch of these 1964 Topps Coins (they are in beckett). I have 107/167 of the entire set. The set books $1000. They're all in pretty good condition. I even have the most expensive coin the set.. #120 Mickey Mantle.

I'm Just posting to get some more information on these. Does this sell good. Is it worth me trying to put the rest of the set together (also have alot of doubles). Just thought i'd share. Anyone have any of these/want any?

Do you have a Frank Robinson? It is hit or miss as far selling. The Mantle should be sold separate. There is a market for these when they are graded by PSA.Set Registry guys are insane.

Don't let the book fool you.You might want to shop them on the PSA boards.(Am I allowed to say that?If not then sorry)You would get more interest there.I wouldn't try and finish it.By the time you are done you would kill your profit.

I collect '60s Topps inserts and oddballs, such as the Topps coins series, and I know for a fact you'll get nowhere near $1,000 for a set, unless they're all graded, which would cost a fortune to do.
Raw coin sets sell for only a few hundred bucks, and that's if they're in great condition with no signs of rust or scratches.
'64 Topps coins are not rare, and there are always tons of singles and lots on eBay.
As for the Mantle, ungraded, they sell for as little as $10 up to around $35 in near mint condition.

Here's a list of completed auctions for the three different '64 Mantle coins:

I think the coins are cool and you should probably keep them, unless you really need the money.
(And no, I'm not interested in buying them from you.)
