1971-72 Topps Set COMPLETED!!!

I have decided to attempt to build the 1971-72 Topps set and wanted to share my progress as I go along. the set contains 132 cards and features the rookie cards of Ken Dryden and Syl Apps.

I will add cards to the 2nd post as I get them so you can see all the cards together.

EDIT after spending way too much time away from this project I finally completed it :mrgreen:

very nice looking set. Does the Topps version not have LaFleur and Dionne?

it really is a nice looking set. LaFleur and Dionne were only included in the O-Pee-Chee set. the O-Pee-Chee also has 264 cards. which is why I decided to do the Topps set. it will be cheaper and easier to complete.

I have about 110 different cards from the 1971-72 Topps set available for trade--ranging from EX to NrMt.

Great progress so far Dave. It is one of my favourite sets and I plan on eventually picking up some of the Canucks in the set.

Great progress so far Dave! I need to make sure I get over here more often so I can keep up with it.

Very nice looking set. It's going to look amazing when it's all done. How do you plan on storing it? In a binder, top loaders, or something else?

thanks Joe and you do need to check out the hockey boards more often.

I actually started putting the cards into a binder yesterday. I am adding them to a binder that I keep all my TTM and IP auto'ed cards and 8x10 photos in as well as my Winter Classic sets.
