Absolutely.

1982 TCMA Hitters and Pitchers were my favorite sets as a kid. Loved the look of 1978.

They were trying to go with that as a look, especially their 1979 Baseball History series (they even mimicked the backs on that release). Those old TCMA cards really look great signed (as do 1953 Bowman Color cards, but I digress).
